History
The beginning: Mechanizing years
Fuertes Group (initially known as Sociedad El Quintillo) was founded by Lord Alberto Fuertes Valenzuela in 1949, just after World War II and during Franco's dictationship period in Spain.
During the first half of the 20th century, agriculture was Spain's most desired business and the main source of private international income. |

S.A.T. El Quintillo was established with the sole purpose of
mechanizing the 5,000 hectares of land that
the Fuertes family owned in the Spanish regions of Teruel, Alicante
and Toledo.
Since then, Fuertes Group has pioneered the agricultural scene in Europe, bringing machinery and techniques to the old continent that didn't exist. We were the first company to introduce the American Ranger Watering System to Europe, an innovative 860 meters length machine that saved energy and water.
